Loretta Sue Ganstine

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Sue Ganstine of Grand Ridge, FL on January 12, 2024.

Loretta was a loving mother, devoted friend, treasured sister, and beloved wife.  Loretta was born on January 27, 1955, in Centralia, IL. She devoted her life to her family,  including her husband and three children, her four sisters and five brothers, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Loretta loved to bake and share her creations with family, friends, and coworkers at Wal-Mart in Marianna, FL, where she was employed for 28 years.

Loretta was a kind and generous woman, who loved to laugh, had an infectious smile, and genuine heart. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know her.

Loretta was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen Ganstine, and survived by her children,  Danny Russell, Tony Ganstine (Christie), and Stephenie Ganstine, as well as her grandchildren; Caleb (Danny), Katie (Stephenie), Abby (Stephenie), Ryley (Stephenie), Emilie (Tony), and Cade (Tony).

Memorial services will be at 2 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Sneads Assembly of God Church with Pastor Juno Douglas officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:15 PM until 1:45 PM in the sanctuary of Sneads Assembly of God Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in her memory to Sneads Assembly of God Church, Post Office Box 89, Sneads, Florida 32460.
