Lola Exum

Mrs. Lola Atwell Exum, 100, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011. Lola was a native of Dothan, AL and a resident of Marianna, FL for 90 years. She was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she taught the ladies Sunday School class for over 30 years. She lived a long, full, and rich life, giving of herself to many people. She goes to God in very good standing and the assurance of His grace and love. Lola was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Exum, her son, Robert E. Exum, and all seven siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Marletta Exum Eddy of Shreveport, LA; two grandchildren, Jason Boyd Exum of Pensacola, FL and Stacy Exum Edgar of Daphne, AL; and a special nephew, A. Bennett Green and his wife, Debby of Marianna, FL. Graveside funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Marianna, FL with the Rev. Roland Rabon officiating and James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
