James & Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel Lois Montez Smith, 91, of Grand Ridge died December 8, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Crisp County, Georgia on July 15, 1920. She was a bookkeeper for the Woolworth Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel D. Minshew and Annie Mae Longino Minshew; three sisters, two brothers, one son, four grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, George Eugene Gilliam of Sycamore, Robert W. Gilliam and wife, Pat of Havana; one daughter, Wanda Arnold and husband, Ted of Grand Ridge; one brother Donald Minshew and wife, Wynell of Albany, Georgia; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2011 at James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery in the Sycamore community with James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel directing. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2011 at James and Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel.
