Lois Locke

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Lois S. Locke, 86 of Marianna, died Monday, October 29, 2012, in Marianna. She was born on August 17, 1926 in Garland, Alabama. She worked at Hinson Insurance Company in Marianna for a number of years and was a member of Kynesville United Methodist Church. Lois was also member of the Marianna Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #129 She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilton and Phronie Daniels; her husbands, Kenneth Simmons and Earl Locke; one daughter, Lori Edenfield, one brother, Leo Daniels. She is survived by one stepson, David Simmons of Orlando; one brother, Frank Daniels of Marianna; three sisters, Joyce Baxter, of Malone, Patricia Rooks, of Lake City, and Betty Bateman, of New Carlisle, OH.; one granddaughter, Olivia Hamilton, of Germany. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Rev. Jim Harbert officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
