Linda Bazzell Pittman

Linda Bazzell Pittman, 71, of Lovedale, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at her residence. She was born on March 1. 1941 to the late Frank Willis and Pearl Virginia Jordan Bazzell. Linda worked for Pen-Brow Fashions in Marianna for almost 20 years. She was a member of Lovedale Baptist Church where she played the piano and worked in the music ministry of the church for many years She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Frankie Bazzell Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Stanley Grat Pittman Sr.; two sons, Stanley Grat Pittman Jr. and wife Sandy of Lovedale and F. Gavin Pittman of Lovedale; and one granddaughter, Lynsey Pittman. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 15, at Lovedale Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Canada officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with James and Sikes Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
