Lester was born October 13, 1957 in Steubenville, OH to the late William Wyley Evans and Della Cheek Evans.
He was preceded in death by his father William Wyley Evans; sister, Dolly Evans; and brother, Robert Evans.
Lester is survived by mother, Della E. Evans of Malone; his wife, Mary Evans of Malone; son, Brian Evans (Lacie) of Malone; three brothers, Christopher Evans of Crawfordville, Donald Evans of Florida, and William Evans of Malone; two sisters, Elizabeth Racaniello of Malone and Bonnie Armstrong of Marianna; three grandchildren, Brian Evans II, Bri-Anna Evans, and Alexander Evans.
