Lena L. Green

Lena Lucille Green, 89, of Sneads died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Southeast Medical Center.

Lena was a lifelong resident of Jackson County, a homemaker, and a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church.

She is Preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Green; two sons, Byron and Jimmy Green; two brothers, Linwood Allen and Billy Joe Allen; four sisters, Kattie Mae Heart, Lillian Jackson, Vernice Jackson, and Elenor Pittman.

Survivors include six sons, Wayne Green and wife Christie of Bristol, Thomas Green and wife Dianne, Allen Green and wife Kaye all of Two Egg, Terry Green of Grand Ridge, Lynn Green of Two Egg, Mark Green and wife Melody Green of Lovedale; sisters, Betty Jean Eason of Two Egg and Daisy Whiddon; 22 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
