Leithal Blair

Leithal Blair, 97, of Marianna died Monday, September 28, 2009 in Marianna. A native of Dade City, Florida, Mrs. Blair had resided in Marianna for the past 65 years. She was a licensed Practical Nurse, an ordained Minister for the past 65 years assisting her late husband Rev George H. Blair until retirement and a member of Eastside Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years Rev. George H. Blair, her parents, Edgar and Minnie Merritt Overstreet. Survivors include two sons, Garland Blair and wife Glenda of Clarksville, Tn., Randall H. Blair of Bonifay. Two daughters, Jacquelyn Kirkland and husband John of Marianna, Yielka Graham of Millis, Ma.; one sister, Vera Tomlinson of Tampa; a sister-in-law, Ollie Maude Presley of Milton; 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.; a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10 am Friday, October 2, 2009 at Eastside Assembly of God Church with Rev. Rudy Prescott, Rev. Jack Howell and Rev. Bobby Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Maddox Chapel. "
