Laura F. Williams, 84, of Marianna, Florida died Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at her residence.
Laura made her life here in Marianna with her husband of 63 years, Leroy Williams. They were lifelong members of Trinity Baptist Church until their health prevented them from attending. Laura was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for her family. One of her favorite hobbies was collecting baskets, she could never have enough! She loved her children, grandchildren and really people in general. For over 50 years she worked at the former Citizens Bank, building relationships with the people of Jackson County. Laura truly loved her job and her bank family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Plez and Claudine Faulk; sister, Carolyn Sims; and brothers, Lee Faulk and Plez Faulk.
Laura is survived by her husband, Leroy Williams; children, Claudette McNeil (Warren), Bruce Williams (Tracy); grandchildren, Jacob McNeil (Taylor), Reed Williams (Marie); great-grandchildren, Tucker McNeil, Dean Williams; sisters, June Laramore and Jane Braswell.
The family will receive friends from 10 - 11 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
Private graveside services followed in Riverside Cemetery Tuesday, June 20, 2023 following with Chaplin Roger Cosson officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
