James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 850-482-2332 Larry S. King, 69, of Lovedale Community died Monday, July 5, 2010 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna. Larry was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, he served in the US Army for three years. He was a farmer for many years and was an Agriculture Businessman. Larry loved to hunt, fish and play golf. Larry was known by many as "Puddleduck" . He was a long time member of Bascom Assembly of God Church. Preceded in death by his parents, James F. King, November 4, 2000 and his mother, Bessie W. King November 20, 2000; one brother, Newt F. King, September 6, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Nell Lawrence King of Lovedale; three sons, Scott King, Steven King and wife, Kimberly all of Greenwood; Wade King and wife, Beth of Two Egg.; one brother, John King and wife, Patricia of Bascom,; one sister-in-law, Ruth D. King of Marianna. Funeral services will be Friday July 9, 2010 at 2 PM at Bascom Assembly of God Church with Revs. Shelton Kindig and John Lawrence III officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday, at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
