Kevin was born in Orlando, FL, but lived most of his life in Jackson County. He graduated from Sneads High School in 1991. Kevin was employed with the Jackson County Sheriff Department. Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Edith Wright; maternal grandparents, Huston and Nadine Neel, all of Sneads; three Aunts, Geneva Whitehead, Brenda Herndon, and Patsy Neel; and a special cousin, Wheeler Shouppe. Kevin is survived by the love of his life, his precious daughter, Madeline Grace Wright of Sneads, his fiancee, LaKeisha Basford of Sneads, his loving father, Jimmy Lynn Wright and step-mother Teresa Wright; his loving mother, Sharon Neel Dawson and step-father Doyle R. Dawson, two step-sisters, Terri Johnson of Sneads and Gina Dawson of Warner Robbins, GA; one step-brother, Donald Ray Dawson of Warner Robbins, GA; uncles Lonnie G. Wright and wife Lee, David Nick Wright and wife Bonnie, and Paul Wright, all of Sneads, Bernard Neel and Daniel David Neel of Sneads; Troy Herndon of Decatur, GA; aunts, Carolyn Baggett and husband Larry of Marianna, Mary Lou Arnold and Husband, Jake of Sneads, Jeffie Ditty and husband, Joe of Bascom, and a host of cousins, great aunts, great uncles, and friends; special friends Waymon and Kathy Basford; step-aunt Pamela Dawson of Knoxville, TN; step-uncle Estelle Dawson and wife Margie of Anniston, AL. Kevin attended church at Sneads Assembly of God. He loved spending time with his family, friends and hunting. Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at Sneads Assembly of God Church, River Road, Sneads, FL, with the Rev. Juno Douglas, Rev. Bill Mayo, and Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Pope Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M.
