Kevin Randolph Thacker, 54, of Marianna died Saturday, November 28, 2015 in Marianna.
Mr. Thacker was born in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone and lived in Marianna for a number of years. He has resided in Sunland Center for the past 14 plus years. He participated in on site activities including workshop, physical therapy and trips to the canteen. Kevin also participated in offsite outings when possible. He enjoyed his coffee after each meal and sitting on his favorite bench in the sunshine. Kevin also enjoyed riding and eating at McDonald's whenever possible.
He is preceded by grandparents, Chester and Marguerite Thacker, Andrew Day (Diza) and Margaret Day.
Survivors include his parents, William and Josephine Thacker of Manchester, TN; a sister Cynthia Thacker of Cumming, GA; brother, Ralph (Janet) Thacker and nephew, Tracie, of Denver, CO; a very special paternal aunt, Mrs. Kathrine Griffen of Murray, KY; a maternal uncle, Dr.William Day of Auburn, AL as well as a number of cousins.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 at Sunland United Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until funeral time.
