James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Kent Lanier Rountree, 70, of Chattahoochee died Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Rountree is survived by one son, Mitchell Moates and wife, Tammy of Pelham, GA, three daughters, Nina Rountree and fiance Wesley White of Chattahoochee, Felicia and Bob Adams of Grand Ridge, Kiaja Rountree of Fountain; one brother, Hugh and Harriet Rountree of Perry; one sister Vivian and Robert Smelley of Suwannee, GA; five grandchildren, Desiree Libby and fiance, Henry Highsmith of Chattahoochee, FL, Jinny and Bradd Harrell, BJ and Tiffany Adams all of Sneads, Tamara and Marcelo Pacheco and Harlee Moates all of Pelham, GA and eight great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 am Friday, September 5, 2014 at Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with Earnest "Skeeter" Weeks officiating. No visitation is planned.
