He was born in Panama City, lived in Marianna where he graduated from Marianna High School. Kenny has been the owner of Linton Machine Shop, for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Chance Linton; survivors include his wife, Peggy Cobb Linton; one son, Jake Linton and his wife, Leslie all of Marianna; five daughters, Melissa Linton of Marianna; Kristy Vickery and husband, Jake of Phenix City, AL., Sandy Baker and husband, Jared of Bonifay; Lacey Patterson and husband, Antonio of Campbellton, Josie Register and husband, Joey of Graceville; his father and step-mother, William Jacob & Betty Linton of Marianna; one brother, Jeffery Wallace Linton of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Christian Center Church in Marianna with Revs. Jack Hollis & Ernie Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Lipford Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
