Katereen Bass

James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Katereen Bass, 75, of Marianna, died Thursday September 29, 2011, at her residence Ms. Bass was born in Geneva County, AL, was a member of Eastside Assembly of God, and a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Jackie Faye Smith and husband Raymond Smith; two brothers, Melton Ryals Jr., and Paul Ryals both of Marianna; three sisters Linda Sterrett Conroy, Pauline Johnson both of Marianna, and Nora Dobbs of Graceville; two grandchildren, Stacy Sutherland of Marianna, Joshua Peyton of Athens, Ga; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Lavon Caraway officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will recieve friends from 5- 7 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at James and Sikes Maddox Chapel.
