Karen C. Stoe, 45 of Chipley formerly of Graceville(Poplar Springs Community) passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Bay Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Bethel Baptist Church with Revs. Kent Lampp and Chester Padgett officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Karen was born in Bartow, Florida on May 27, 1963 to James and Ruby Armstrong Best. A graduate from Poplar Spring High School Class of 1981, Karen received her Nursing Degree from Wallace Community College and was a Registered Nurse with Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Best, granddaughter Anna Joy Procter, brothers-in-law Fred Lamar Stoe, Jr. and Delaney Stoe. She is survived by her beloved, husband Benjamin "Ben" Stoe of Chipley, father James Best of Graceville, son Benjamin Stoe, II of Panama City, four daughters Tabatha Polston and husband Curtis of Panama City, April Procter and husband Jason of Gainesville, Sabrina Stoe of Chipley, Michelle Stoe of Orlando; two brothers Frankie Wilson and wife Ginger of Ozark, AL, Lawrence Peters of Tallahassee; three sisters Diane Sims and husband Wayne of Graceville, Debbie Wilson of Panama City, Carolanne Gates of Lynn Haven; two grandchildren Madison Middleton, Conner W. Stoe; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
