Karen Sue Roberts Moberly, age 75, died unexpectedly in Bay County May 7, 2024.
Karen was born January 31,1949 in Port St. Joe, Florida to Kenneth and Mary Helen Roberts. She lived in Savannah, Georgia where she met and married her husband, John Douglas Moberly, a handsome helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army. Together, they moved to Greybull Wyoming where they raised their family. Karen was Administrator at The South Big Horn senior citizens center. She loved her job and she referred to the senior citizens as, "My seniors".
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Douglas Moberly; and her parents, Kenneth and Mary Helen Roberts.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Landis (Wayne) and Shaun Moberly (Krista); grandchildren, Sean Moberly, Brice Moberly, Logan Moberly, Emma Landis and Sofia Landis; sisters, Mary Adams, Betty Roberts and Kennese Adkins (Ronnie).
She was very proud of her husband, children, and grandchildren's military careers. They were her greatest joy and she loved talking about them.
There is no service planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Partners for Pets in Marianna, Florida.
