James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Julie Lorraine Hill Stringer, 49, went to her heavenly home on March 27, 2012. She was a Dental Assistant and was previously a Dental Assistant Instructor at Concorde Career Institute. Julie was a loving mother, sister, and daughter who brought sunshine, happiness, laughter and cheer to all she met. She was a devout Christian with a generous, caring heart and a zest for life. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Bernard ("Bunk") Hill, grandmother, Ocy J. Hill, grandfather, Jack F. Stroud, and grandmother, Margaret W. Stroud. She is survived by her daughters, Shawna Risso and Tiffany Jernigan, her parents, Bernard F. Hill and Margaret S. Lockamy, a brother, Kenneth W. Hill, sisters Renee Hill and Lindsay Lockamy, two nephews, Luke and Logan Lockamy, stepfather, Greg Lockamy, grandmother, Lysbeth W. Brown, and a host of friends and extended family. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all! Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CST Saturday, March 31, 2012.at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Ridge.
