Juanita Edenfield Burgess Parrish, 90, died Friday, April 10, 2020 at Marianna Health & Rehab. She was born April 16, 1929 in Grand Ridge, Florida to “Sugar” John Edenfield and Daisy Mae Bailey Edenfield and graduated from Grand Ridge High School. Juanita and husband, Earl Burgess were co-owners of Burgess Trim Shop for many years in Marianna. She later owned Paradise Gift Shop in Marianna. Juanita was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida, and was an avid bowler winning many trophies down through the years.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Sugar John Edenfield and Daisy Bailey Edenfield. Husband, Earl Burgess and second husband, Bernard Hughey Parrish; brothers, John F. Edenfield, Hayes Edenfield, Otis Edenfield, Ellis Edenfield and sister, Lottie Bryant.
She is survived by one brother, Daniel Earl Edenfield of Halls, Tennessee; a special nephew, Jesse Edenfield; a special niece, Gail Tipton as well as a host of other nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside will be conducted at Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
