Juanita Ann Seay

Juanita Ann (Tharp) Seay, 88, of Compass Lake, died at her home on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Juanita was born and raised in Compass Lake, Florida, but moved to Pensacola in 1954. She returned to Compass Lake in 1997 and has resided there since. She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids, as well as her church family. Juanita was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Marianna, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Seay, her parents, Earl and Grady Tharp, and her brothers, Earl Tharp Jr. and Glen Tharp.

Survivors include one son, Jeff (Elaine) Seay of Pace, Florida. Two daughters, Donna (Gary) Hensel, of Panama City Beach, Florida. Nancy (David) Hayes of Pensacola, Florida. Seven grandchildren: Jessica (Bubba) Peters of Cantonment, Florida, Jaclyn Seay of Cantonment, FL, Taylor and Ross Hensel of Atlanta, Georgia. Gage Gill of Pensacola, Wyatt Gill of Pensacola, and John (Laurie) Gill of Mobile, Alabama. Three great-grandchildren: Tripp Peters, Caroline Peters, and Charlotte Peters. And one brother, Bobby Tharp of Marianna.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Trinity Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida, with Rev. Danny Mann. Interment will follow in Compass Lake Community Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

A special thanks to Brannon Poole, Gary and Karen Poole, Stanley Poole, Ronnie and Hazel Glaze, and the members of Trinity Baptist Church for the love and support you provided. She was truly blessed to have many friends who loved and helped her over the years.
