James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 Joyce Carilon Hatcher Holbert, 58, of Tallahassee died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at her home in Tallahassee. Born in Donalsonville, Ga. Mrs. Holbert grew up in Jackson County, she resided in Tallahassee most of her life and was employed with Unisys Corp. as a computer programmer. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Tallahassee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Watford Hatcher. Survivors include her husband, Ivan Holbert and one son, Michael Holbert both of Tallahassee; one daughter, Melissa Covington of Pine Bluff, Ark.; her father Roy F. Hatcher and wife, Eloise of Grand Ridge; two brothers, Curtis Hatcher and wife, Jennifer; Hilton Hatcher and wife, Becky all of Bascom; 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 pm Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Houston County, Alabama near Bascom with Rev. M. R. Callahan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sat. Dec 15 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel in Marianna.
