A native of Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Forrester had resided in Malone for a number of years. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Marianna and worked as a Human Service Worker for Sunland for 23 years, and she will be remembered as a great mother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Rose Mathews. Survivors include her husband, Frank Forrester; her son, James P. Forrester, both of Malone; her step-son, Shannon Kinsey and family of Huntville, North Carolina; her brother, Curtis Mathews of Tallahassee, FL; and two step-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 10 A.M. Monday, April 20, at Maddox Chapel with the Revs. James Bradley and Jackie Register officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Malone with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Sunday, April 19, 2009 at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
