Joseph "Joe" Lee Hinson

Joseph "Joe" Lee Hinson, 97 of Graceville passed away, Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Campbellton-Graceville Hospital following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Chester Padgett officiating. Burial will follow in Damascus Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday 1 p.m. until time of service. Mr. Joe was a native and life long resident of Graceville. He farmed all his life and a member of the Sons of the Confederacy. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jessie Lee Hinson, son Donald Hinson, granddaughter Robyn Hinson Campbell, four brothers and one sister. Survived by son and daughter-in-law Robert and Ruby Hinson, daughter-in-law Gloria Hinson all of Graceville; four grandchildren Teresa Creel and husband James, Tim Hinson, Renae Reeves and husband Michael, Britt Hinson; four great grandchildren Drew Creel, Summer Creel, Makayla Campbell, Easton Wyatt Hinson; a host of nieces and nephews.
