Joseph A. Gelofsack

Joseph A. Gelofsack, Jr., 74, of Bascom died Friday In Marianna. He was a native of Scranton, Pa. Has lived in Jackson County since 1983. He retired from Unimac and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Donalsonville, Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of Bascom; two sons, Mark & Joey Gelofsack both of Euclid, Ohio; three daughters, Mary Ann Stevens of Carlsdads, N.M., Lynn Samas of Euclid, Ohio, Debrah Moody of Pensacola; one stepdaughter, Diane Sellitto & husband Dan of Hartsgrove, Ohio; one stepson, Robert Bangs of Bascom; five sisters, 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren & one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 23, at 7 p.m. at Maddox Chapel with Dr. Lewis Bullard officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel in charge of arrangements.
