James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Jonathan Andrew Segrest, 44, of Malone, FL passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Andy was born September 25, 1970 in Donalsonville, GA to the late James E. Segrest and Madelyne Ferguson Segrest. Andy grew up in Jackson County. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his children. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, JC and Vincy Ferguson of Bascom, Jeff and Lillie Segrest of Shady Grove; one brother-in-law David E. Jackson of Shady Grove. He is survived by two sons, Brandon A. Segrest of Madison, Liam A. Segrest of Greenwood; his mother, Madelyne F. Baxter of Malone; one sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Jackson of Malone; three brothers, James (Jan) Segrest of Bonifay, Jack Segrest of Malone, Paul (Marie) Segrest of Bascom; three nephews, Michael Bennett of Marianna, Daniel Jackson of Malone, JT Segrest of Bascom; four nieces, Alaina Jackson Phillips (Jason) of Grand Ridge, Liz, Courtney and Ashleigh Segrest all of Glendale Arizona; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. Shaun Buice officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. No visitation is planned.
