James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Fl 32446 850-482-2332 Roy Jonathan Hill, 44, of Marianna passed away Friday morning, September 24, 2010 at his residence following a courageous battle with polymyositis. He was the youngest of three children born to William M. (Bill) and Yvonne Hill. Jonathan graduated from Marianna High School in May of 1985, and lived in Marianna all his life. He worked with Bob's Lawn Maintenance for 11 years and retired from the Jackson County School Board. He was a joyful and courteous young man with a heart of gold, especially for animals. He loved the Lord and his family with all he had. Preceded in death by his father, William M. (Bill) Hill of Marianna. He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Hill; one brother, Ashley Hill and wife, Amy; one sister, Charlene Smith and husband, Dennis; two nephews, Jacob Hill and wife, Annie; Steven Smith and one niece, Kacie Smith, all of Marianna; extended family, Aunt and Uncle Dr. Lamar and Connie Miller of Dothan, AL. Aunt Sylvia Bachman of Grand Island, NY. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Christian Center Church with Jack Hollis officiating. Interment will be in Dothan City Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.
