Johnny J. Sloan, Sr., 86, of Cottondale, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at The Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard in Marianna.
Mr. Sloan was a long time resident of Cottondale, formerly of Auburndale, Fl.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Sloan. Survivors include his daughter, Debra Martin and husband, Larry of Huntsville, Al; son, Johnny Sloan Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Marianna; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottondale with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
The funeral cortege will leave James & Sikes Maddox Chapel at 9:30 a.m.
