Johnnie Ruth Wester, 75, of Grand Ridge, FL passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2025.
Johnnie Ruth was a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Florida born November 27, 1949, to the late Allen and Vera Hill. She graduated from Marianna High School and worked for the state of Florida for over 30 years. She was a devoted wife and mother as well as a beloved grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Wester.
Survivors include one son, Robert Wester of Abbeville, AL; one daughter, Sharon Justiss (Mark) of Crestview; one brother, Roy Hill (Gail) of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Gayle Howell (Roger) of Grand Ridge and Mattie Braswell of Chipley; four grandchildren, Kara Andreasen of Panama City, Cayla Andreasen of Panama City, Christopher Justiss of South Carolina, and Tyler Justiss of Crestview; and one great-granddaughter, Alyvia Andreasen.
Graveside service will be 1 PM Monday, February 3, 2025 at Cypress Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
