John R. Sptizer, Sr, 69, of Marianna died Monday, January 18, 2010 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law Kim and Scott Barfield in Marianna. A native of Sevierville, Tn. Mr. Spitzer was a retired U. S. Navy veteran. Additional survivors include his son, John R. Spitzer, II and wife Paula of Hanceville, Alabama and seven granddaughters. A service of remembrance will be held at a later date in Sevierville, Tn."
