John N. Evans, a Warrior for Christ transitioned home to be with the father on Saturday, August 26, 2023. His adoring wife was by his side.
He leaves three kids, eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren to follow him home in our time. He was a man of dignity, honor and honesty. He was loyal to his Country and Our Lord. This is the legacy he leaves with us and we will pass it forward until we meet again.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Rev. Gary Gable officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
