John J. Dorgeloh, 67 of Marianna, Florida passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at his residence. He was born to Harold and Belva Dorgeloh on October 20, 1955.
He was a wonderful family man. He would do anything for his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He put everyone else’s needs before his own. He could fix anything and was the jack of all trades. John served in the Marines and then worked as a maintenance mechanic for the remainder of his career. He enjoyed working out in the yard, fixing cars and always had new projects that he was doing around the house.
John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Day) Dorgeloh; daughters, Christina Jordan (spouse, Frank Jordan) and daughter, Roseanne Dorgeloh Dean (spouse, Chris Dean); stepmother, Virginia Dorgeloh), one sister, Patti Dorgeloh; three brothers, Bill Dorgeloh (spouse, Laura Dorgeloh), Harold Dorgeloh (spouse, Rachel Dorgeloh), and Eddie Dorgeloh (spouse, Beverly Dorgeloh); six grandchildren Jayden Zeller, Kaneil Zeller, Chloe Dean, Bryce Jordan, Amiyah Jordan and Reagan Dean; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2023, with Rev. Peter Shiff officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM up to the time of service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
