John Leo Demarco

John Leo DeMarco, 65, of Alford passed away on October 31, 2014. John served in the U.S. Army having served a tour of duty in Vietnam where he was twice awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. DeMarco was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Frances DeMarco, and a brother William Oliver. Survivors include his wife Tonia; three daughters Rani DeMarco, Amanda DeMarco and Audrey Sterrett; Two step-daughters Amanda Edenfield and Malinda Self; one brother Joseph and wife Dana, one sister Jackie Bradley, Four granddaughters and five grandsons. One uncle, Paul Sterrett, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Service of remembrance will be 2 pm Saturday, November 15, 2014 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. Interment will follow at Alford City Cemetery with military honors. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm, Saturday, November 15, 2014 until service time at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
