John C. "JC" Burch, 78, of Grand Ridge died Monday, February 1, 2016 at his home.
A native and life long resident of Grand Ridge, JC was a member of Providence Baptist Church, and avid fisherman and hunter. He was a retired citrus grove manager for over 20 years with Adrian Ernhart Farms.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ronda Vogel; his parents, J. D. and Lois Ray Burch; a brother, Donald Burch and a sister, Ama Ruth Camper.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Norma J. Burch of Grand Ridge; two sons, John A. and Timothy Burch both of Tallahassee; two daughters, Missie Burch Rosenberry of Boynton Beach, FL and April Vincent of Cocoa, FL; two brothers, Cecil Burch and wife, Regina of Winter Haven, Ben Burch and wife Elaine of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Mary Cline of Sarasota and Doris Mercerson of Cocoa; 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 pm, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Kleiser officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends from 2 pm Thursday, February 4, 2016 until funeral time at Providence Baptist Church.
