Joe Rabon, 91, of Sneads went to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007. He was born September 4, 1915 in Jackson County Florida. Mr. Rabon was preceded in death by his grandson, Edwin and two brothers, Melvin and Willie. Survivors include his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy; five children, Joey Rabon and wife Amanda, Lisa Lawerence and husband Ricky, Dale Rabon Guthie and husband, John, Eddie Rabon and wife Brenda, Barbara McAlpin and husband, Sammy; five grandsons, Timmy, Chris, Sammy John, Jason and Burt; three granddaughters, Kayla, Amber and Meghan; two great-granddaughters, Maggie and Samantha; two great-grandsons, Chayton and Nicholas; two sisters, Frances Cloud and Susie B. Tyus. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. CDT, Tuesday, April 10, at Dykes Cemetery near Grand Ridge with Revs. Jack Howell & Carol Senn officiating. Military honors wil be given by Sneads American Legion Post 241. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct.
