James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel 4278 Lafayette Street Marianna, Florida 32446 Joann Sims Parmer, 57, of Marianna died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Jackson Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, where she was a homemaker, and of the Pentecostal faith. She is preceded in death by her father, Wilton Cecil Sims. Survivors include her husband, Donnie William Parmer; one son, Cecil Odell Miles of Marianna; her mother, Lois Yvonne Sapp Sims; two brothers, Jimmy Sims and wife Eldridge, and David Sims and wife Patty, all of Marianna; one sister, Brenda Fussell and husband Wayne of Grand Ridge. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Carlton Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Sink Creek Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
