Joan P. Jensen

Joan P. Jensen, 78, of Marianna, FL., formerly of Richmond, VA., died Monday, June 16, 2014 at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard. Mrs. Jensen was a resident of the Hatton House in Sneads, FL., and had resided in Marianna, FL., for the past 12 years. She loved arts and crafts, her family and her dog Baby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Stanley and Freida Gortz Guth, and husband of 30 years, Thomas W. Jensen. She is survived by two sons, Raymond John "Ray" Jensen of Richmond, VA., Michael Edward Jensen of Staunton, VA.; two daughters, Joanne Elizabeth Jensen of Richmond, VA., Robin Jensen Lloyd of Virginia Beach, VA.; two brothers, William August Guth of Marianna, FL., Raymond Stanley Guth, Jr. of Sebring, FL.; one sister, Betty Ann Gibson of Sneads, FL.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be announced at a later date, and will take place in Richmond, VA. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna, FL., is in charge of arrangements.
