Jo Ellen Gray

Jo Ellen Gray (nee. Hacker), born March 25, 1959, in Camp Lejeune, NC, of Inverness, Florida and Marianna, Florida gained her angel wings peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2025, at her home in Marianna Florida after a long battle with cancer.

Jo was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Ellen (Steen) Hacker; father, Ray Hacker Sr; sister’s, Judy Sizemore-Cicio & Wendy J. Carpenter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Bobby Gray of Marianna, FL; daughters, Tina Jo Little and Amy Lynn Gray; daughter by love, Cher Boney (Steve); granddaughter, Paige Little, all of Inverness, Florida; her furry companions, Sadie bug, Bubby, and Olive. Other survivors include sister, Dianne McQueen; brother-in-law, Jeffery McQueen; brother, Ray Hacker Jr; brother-in-law, Edward Lee Carpenter; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Jo’s family meant the world to her; she loved them fiercely. The moon and stars rose and set on her daughters and granddaughter. She never met a stranger and was a friend to all.

At Jo’s request no services will be held. We ask that you honor and remember her in your own way.
