James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Jimmy Sikes, 62, of Panama City died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was born in Bonifay Fl. to Jim and Jean Sikes. He lived most his life in Panama City. He graduated from Rutherford High School in 1967, he worked as a cabinet builder most of his life and cabinetry designer until his death. Jimmy was a huge Seminole and Braves fan. Survivors include his daughter, Tisa Boggess and husband, Preston of Panama City; his parents, Jim and Jean Sikes of Panama City; sisters, Dianne Wasmiller and husband Craig of Panama City, Debra Cogburn and husband, Adam of Panama City; one grandson, Christopher Lee Boggess; neices and nephews, Jennifer Wasmiller, Krista Peebles and husband, Anthony, Zack Cogburn; his former wife and friend, Sherry Lynn Arnold. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3, at 2 p.m. at Refuge Full Gospel Assembly of God Church , 922 West Park Street , Parker, FL. with Rev. Danny Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lynn Haven Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Refuge Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, 922 West Park Street, Parker, FL.
