Jimmy Rabon

Jimmy Rabon, 77, of Grand Ridge died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at his home. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Rabon was retired from Florida State Hospital, he attended El Bethel Assembly of God Church and enjoyed keeping a pretty yard and visiting with friends at Blondies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Neal and Edna Stephens Rabon; five brothers, Billy, Henry, Edward, Cecil and Charlie Rabon; one sister, Eunice Dendy and a special friend, Cora Lee Mitchell. Survivors include his sister, Rozell Thomas and husband Chuck, of Hobart, IN; 13 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at El Bethel Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jack Howell, Chaplain of Covenant Hospice and Rev. Clinton Howell officiating. Interment will be at Dykes Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sneads American Legion Post 241. James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel will direct. The family will receive friends from 9 am until funeral time Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at El Bethel Assembly of God Church.
