He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim & Marguerite Bass, a brother, Saul Bass and a sister, Marlene Chesser; survivors include one brother, Eddie Bryant McClendon; his aunt Minnie Bell Walden of Grand Ridge; extended family, David Fuller; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Dr. Thomas Batts officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
