Jessie B. Green

Jessie B. Green, 93, of Marianna died Friday, September 5, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Green was a longtime resident of Jackson County, where she was a homemaker and a member of The First United Methodist Church in Marianna. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. A.B. Green, son, Benny Green, and a grandson, Tony Cochran. Survivors include three sons; Terrill Green and wife, Gaye of Wisconsin, Donald Green and wife JoAnn of Eight Mile, Alabama; Clayton Green and wife, Latesha of DeFuniak Springs; two daughters, Louise Cochran and husband, Jerry of Semmes, Alabama; and Peggy Hughes and husband, Bobby of Marianna; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, September 7, at the First United Methodist Church in Marianna with Dr. Bob McKibben, Revs. Bob Calvert and Clay Green officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2-3 P.M.
