Jerry Wayne Pankowski, 78, of Cottondale, Florida died Monday, April 26, 2021 at his residence.
He was born September 8, 1942 in Toledo, Washington to Roger Williams and Delores Hopp Pankowski. He was later adopted by his second father, George Pankowski.
He served in the Army before starting his business, Rain Proof Inc., which he owned and operated for over 20 years. He was hard working and loved his cars! NASCAR, classic cars, car shows and auctions were some of his favorite things.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Minnie Hopp; and son, Aron Pankowski.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Kelly Pankowski; daughters, Debra Pankowski Moore (Nate), Miranda Thomson; granddaughters, Nina Oleta Boyle (Shane), Chloe Oleta Rogers; grandson, Devan Moore; great-grandaughters, Charlotte Rogers, Malia Boyle; sister, Susan Pankowski Warren (Donald); and two nieces.
Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Revs. Rich Ellisgon and David Taylor officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home Directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
