Jerry Levin Mears

James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Rev. Jerry Levin Mears, 68, of Dellwood, went to be with his Lord Sunday, October 21, 2012, on his birthday, at his residence. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Zedaker and Myrtice Mears. Mr. Mears is survived by his wife, Mary Mears; two daughters, Karen Adams and husband, Scott, of Enterprise, AL., Melinda Mears and husband, Duckey Wright, of Marianna; two sisters, Susie Walters and husband, Lee of Adel GA. and Frieda Mercer of Dellwood; Nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; many members of The Cypress Community Church where he pastored for the past 27 years. Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Cypress Community Church with Revs. Robert Simmons and Roland Bamberg officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. No visitation planned.
