Jennie Lee Weeks

Jennie L. "Liz" Weeks, 62, of Sneads died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Jackson Hospital. Ms. Weeks was born December 2, 1945 in Jackson County. She was Preceded in death by one son, Johnny L. Rogers; her parents, Amos and Curtis Weeks; two sisters, Rossie Lee McCroan and Linny V. Weeks Neel; one brother, William "Tom" Weeks; close friend, Thomas Gibson. Survived by three sons, Emery L. Rogers and wife June of Sneads, Amos Rogers and wife Sherri of Bruce, MS., Tony Rogers and wife, Sherrie of Sneads; one daughter, Jennifer Rogers and husband Wade of Panama City; two sisters, Virginia Weeks and Nancy White both of Sneads; three brothers, Maxwell Weeks, Jerry Weeks both of Sneads, Ernest "Skeeter" Weeks of Pelham, Ga.; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pope Cemetery with Rev. William Walker and Skeeter Weeks officiating. James & Sikes Funeral Home Sneads Chapel will direct.
