Jeffie Lee Sadler, 89, of Panama City died Monday, March 31, 2008 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City. A native of Cario, Georgia, Mr. Sadler was a former resident of Sebring, Florida and a retired employee of the Department of Transportation. He was a U. S. Army veteran and had resided in Panama City for the past 3 years. He lived most of his life in Jackson County and was ordained at Round Lake Baptist Church and was a former Pastor and member of White Pond Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie R. and Emma Bennett Sadler. Survivors include his wife, Lucile Sadler of Panama City; two sons, Timothy Sadler and wife Susan of Liberal, Kansas and Wayne Sadler of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Kristen Sadler and Jeff Sadler of Liberal, Ks; one great granddaughter, Madelyn Sadler of Liberal, Ks; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Glen McAdams and wife Magdalene, Olin McAdams and wife Thelma all of Panama City; Elwood McAdams of Daytona Beach; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 am Friday, April 4, 2008 at White Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Slesser, Rev. Howard Browning and Timothy Sadler officiating, burial will follow at White Pond Cemetery with the Snead's American Legion Post 241 providing military honors, James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Maddox Chapel.
