James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel Charles Jeffrey "Jeff' Howell, 60, of Sneads died Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Jackson Hospital of advanced lung cancer. Jeffrey worked at Chipola Ford in Marianna for 34 years, Elkins Ford in Quincy and McIntosh-Brock Ford in Sneads all for a total of 44 years in the Ford industry. He enjoyed hunting, Nascar and everything Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by his parents, CJ and Eugenia Howell. Jeffrey is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Belinda Kirkland Howell, two great sons, Jason Alexander Howell, Kevin Marcus Howell all of Sneads; two sisters, Sherry McQuaig and husband, John of Sneads, Pamela Russell and husband, Leland of New Orleans, LA and a host of nieces, nephew, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Sneads with Revs. Bill Mayo and Matt Basford officiating. Interment will follow in Dykes Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sneads building fund.
