She was born in rural Houston County Alabama, on January 25, 1929 to Velma and Clyde Elmore. Most of her life was lived on a farm. She enjoyed life on a farm, even when it was hard. Nothing was better for her than gathering her family and friends around her for food and conversation. She was love.
