Jeanette C. Dunaway

Jeannette C. Dunaway, 76, of Greenwood died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. She retired from the Jackson County School System as an educator after 32 years of service. Miss Jeanette was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Charlie B. Dunaway. Survivors include one sister, Helen C. Williams of Greenwood; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at Maddox Chapel with Loran Mercer officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Baptist Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Thursday at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel.
