Jaye Arlene Hall

September 23, 1947 — April 12, 2016

Jaye Arlene Lipford Hall, 68, passed peacefully Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in
her home in Grand Ridge, FL surrounded by her family.

Arlene was born in Marianna to the late Willis and Doris Hall Lipford.
A 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School, Arlene also graduated from
Chipola Junior College and Lively Technical College with certification in Corrections. Prior to her 20-year career in corrections, which began at Appalachee Correctional Institution, she worked at Warner's Sewing
Factory and at Golson Elementary school as a bookkeeper. She retired from
the State of Florida in 2001. For many years she was a loving caregiver to several children who called her "Nanny". In her later years, she gave of her time as a volunteer with the Jackson Hospital Pink Lady Auxillary. She is a member of Providence Baptist Church in Grand Ridge, Florida.

Arlene is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bobby Lawrence Hall; her sons Gary Allen Hall and wife Melanie, Barry Clinton Hall and wife Karen; four grandchildren, Leigh Anna Hall, Lauren Hall and fiance Jason Moore, Trevin Hall, and Cade Hall. Also, she is survived by sister Joyce Lipford Buchanan and husband Paul; brother Ronald Lipford and wife Lynn; brother Tim Lipford and fiance Bonita Wages; and sister Rita Lipford Millwood and husband Jesse; and many nieces and nephews.

Her homegoing celebration will take place at Providence Baptist Church on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Dykes Cemetery in Grand Ridge with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing. The family will receive family and friends at Providence Baptist Church on Friday, April 15, 2016, from 6-8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to the Jackson Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Fund c/o Jan Beard 5158 President Circle Marianna, FL 32446.
