Janice Sullivan Ross and Robert "Bob" Ross who both were serving as Missionaries in Guatemala, died in an Automobile accident on September 2, 2009 Memorial services for Janice and Bob will be held 2 pm Saturday, September 25 at Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with James & Sikes Funeral Home directing. Janice was born in Marianna July 22, 1948 to Frances Day Sullivan and the late James M. Sullivan. After graduating from High School Janice went to Florida State University where she earned her Master's in Library Science. She retired as Librarian of the FSU Law Library in 2005. She is survived by her mother Frances Sullivan Walters, a Foster brother Jerry McIntyre of Quincy and numerous cousins and other relatives in the area. She is also survived by three step children of the heart Adam, Jonathan and Mary Ross and four grandchildren. Bob attended Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, NC. Following that he served three years in the U.S. Navy. He later moved to Tallahassee where he met Janice and they were married on April 18, 1987. Bob is survived his three children, Adam and Mary Ross both of Aberdeen, NC and Jonathan Ross and wife Danielle of Jacksonville; four grandchildren; his parents, Harold and Jean Ross of LaGrange, GA, a brother, Bill Ross and wife Sandra of LaGrange. Together they began their mission in 2005 and were serving in Panajachel, Guatemala. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church building fund or your favorite Charity. "
